Despite the decline in Bitcoin, Standard Chartered shared its current BTC expectations, expecting $200,000 for 2025 and $500,000 during Donald Trump's presidency.

Geoffrey Kendrick from Standard Chartered said he expects Bitcoin to fall to the range of $69,000 to $76,500 over the weekend or on Monday.

Geoffrey Kendrick, Global Head of Digital Assets Research at Standard Chartered, speaking to The Block, said he expects Bitcoin to fall further.

"I expect Bitcoin to fall further to the range of 69,000 to 76,500 dollars over the weekend or on Monday."

This will be a dip I want to buy.

Kendrick, pointing out that risk assets like Bitcoin will be under pressure after Trump's latest tariff announcements, said the current outlook resembles August 2024, when Bitcoin dropped from $70,000 to $50,000 in a week.

"If it follows a similar trend to August 2024, there could be a further 5.5% drop from current levels. This could bring Bitcoin to the range of 69,000 to 76,500 dollars. I am considering buying at these levels."
