With Ethereum (ETH) price dropping below 1,800 dollars, a huge whale's position worth approximately 121.8 million dollars was liquidated.

In the crypto market, the recent sharp declines have continued to put investors who especially open high-risk positions in a difficult situation. According to the data shared by Lookonchain, Ethereum falling below the critical support level of $1,800 has put a major Ethereum investor in a difficult position. Despite taking action to lower the liquidation price for $121 million, this investor was late to take precautions.

In order to lower the liquidation threshold, the Ethereum whale took a quick step by depositing approximately 2,000 ETH, equivalent to 3.73 million dollars, and repaid a 1.54 million dollar DAI debt to the platform. Despite successfully lowering the liquidation price to 1,836.43 dollars with this move, the Ethereum price fell below even the protected level, resulting in the complete liquidation of the whale's position.
