Bitcoin will break the record after '10 Thousand' despite 8 weeks of sharp decline! - Coin Bulletin
The total number of wallets holding Bitcoin (BTC) has exceeded 54.71 million, approaching the all-time high.
The flagship of the cryptocurrency market, Bitcoin's (BTC) wallet count is moving towards a new record. According to data released by the blockchain analysis company Santiment, the total number of wallets holding BTC and with non-zero balances has reached 54.71 million. This figure is only 10,000 wallets away from the all-time record, which was recorded on January 19, 2025, and peaked at approximately 54.72 million.
In the report shared by Santiment, it was stated that the growth of the Bitcoin network and the division of wallets holding a large amount of BTC into smaller wallets are important factors in the increase of this number. Additionally, the fact that this increase in the number of wallets has occurred despite the extreme volatility that Bitcoin price has experienced for the past 8 weeks is interpreted as a very positive development for the market.
Growth continues on the Bitcoin network
Since Bitcoin reached an all-time high of $109,000 approximately 8 weeks ago, the market has been experiencing significant fluctuations. However, the steady increase in the number of BTC users indicates that confidence in the Bitcoin network continues. Santiment experts suggest that the splitting of addresses, especially by large investors to diversify risks, has also contributed to the increase in the number of users.
According to Santiment data, the number of Bitcoin wallets is currently approaching an all-time high with less than 10 thousand wallets difference. This situation is interpreted as a positive development for the future of the market.
