On March 24, news from Conflux Network disclosed that the network fixed a critical vulnerability in the CREATE2 operation code during the V2.5 upgrade on March 17. This vulnerability was discovered with the assistance of the GraFunLabs team, allowing contracts to be redeployed on existing addresses, affecting the Gnosis Safe Wallet. Conflux Network said that the security incident did not result in the loss of any user funds. The upgrade also enhances Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatibility for future security.
