The most taboo thing in life is perfection. Some people have a bad marriage but excellent children, some have a good marriage but poor health, some have a smooth career but a troubled family, some have a harmonious family but live in poverty. Fortune should not be fully enjoyed, power should not be fully seized, and merit should not be fully coveted. Looking at a person's whole life, when successful, one may enjoy the flowers of Chang'an in a day, but when facing failure, they may be blown by the cold wind in the desolate valley.
