Zhuangzi's view on death is very profound. Sometimes when you read it, you might think it's a bit too much. He himself is dying, and his students feel sorry for him, saying, 'Teacher, you're so knowledgeable, but you've been so wronged in this lifetime.' So after you pass away, we'll try our best to arrange a proper funeral for you.' Zhuangzi says, 'Absolutely not! Heaven and earth are my coffin, the sun and moon are the decorations on my coffin, and all things serve as gifts for my burial. Why would I need a funeral? Just leave me in the wilderness.' The students say, 'That won't work. Eagles and crows will eat your body.' Zhuangzi says, 'You snatch my body from the mouths of eagles and crows and bury it in the ground for ants to eat. Why are you so good to ants?' He talks about his body as if he's talking about someone else's. This is the Daoist way, and he's definitely not joking. After you study Daoism, you will find that many worldly cares can be temporarily set aside. Because whether you care or not, things will happen anyway. It's better to focus on understanding life. As long as you're alive today, there must be a reason for you to live. Every one of us being able to live is supported by the Dao, and this flower being able to bloom is also supported by the Dao. The Dao is omnipresent, so everything is worth appreciating. Everything is beautiful. That's why Zhuangzi said, 'Heaven and earth possess great beauty, yet remain silent.'
