The Wyoming state government is also issuing stablecoins! It has confirmed that it will partner with Aptos, Sei, and LayerZero to issue WTST.
The state government stablecoin WTST issued by the state of Wyoming in the United States is the first US dollar stablecoin backed by US Treasury bonds launched by a national local government. Recently, it was also announced that it will collaborate with Aptos and LayerZero to become an issuance partner.

Mark Gordon, the Governor of Wyoming, announced at the blockchain summit in Washington D.C. on March 27 that the state government plans to issue its stablecoin "WYST" in July this year, becoming the first stablecoin launched by a local government based on US dollars and backed by US Treasury bonds as reserves. In recent times, the Wyoming state government has also been testing the performance of the relevant blockchain, and Aptos recently announced that this public chain scored 32 points, tying with Solana to become the public chain with the highest score.

Apots and Sei enter the stablecoin pilot program
Reports indicate that the Wyoming Stable Token Committee has included Aptos and Sei in its list of candidates for the stablecoin pilot program, although Solana also received the same score of 32, it was not selected to proceed to the pilot phase.
Sei scored 30 points, while other participants include Avalanche ( with 127 points ), Ethereum ( with 126 points ), Base ( with 125 points ), and Algorand ( with 121 points ), as well as Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism, Stellar, and Sui, among others. It is understood that the network test evaluated metrics such as transactions per second, fees, and transaction finality.
