At the same time, PNP's trading volume increased by 1300% to reach $458,000. Currently, PNP is trading at an average price of $0.987. An Altcoin Attack Also Hit Pendle

The attack on Penpie also negatively affected the price of Pendle. Especially, the price of Pendle has experienced an 11% decrease in the last 24 hours. Currently, PENDLE is trading at the level of $2.78. However, the trading volume of PENDLE has decreased by 25%. The 24-hour trading volume of Pendle dropped to $55.3 million. This attack has caused uneasiness among investors and led to market fluctuations.

Reward Negotiations Started

Penpie has announced its intention to start negotiations with the attacker. The protocol aims to make a reward deal with the attacker for the return of the stolen funds. In addition, Penpie emphasized the significant importance of these funds to the community. However, it was also mentioned that the attacker could transition to a white hat hacker role.

With this agreement, Penpie aims to avoid legal processes. The identity of the attacker will remain confidential and will receive a portion of the funds as a reward. The successful outcome of such an agreement could reduce the damage to the protocol and users.
