Shiba Inu Token destroyed 1.74 billion in a week, what is the current situation?
The Shiba Inu community has been insisting on burning SHIB tokens. In one week, it sent a whopping 1,748,403,277 SHIB tokens to the project’s dead wallet. The burning mechanism is part of the process the Shiba uses to maintain the stability of its ecosystem. This is a powerful measure to reclaim the value of SHIB tokens as it removes more tokens from circulation.
Shibburn, however, revealed that the rate of Shiba Inu burns this week was down 69.48 percent from the previous week. The previous week’s token burn data showed that 3.98 billion SHIB tokens were sent to dead wallets. This process was accomplished through 19 separate transactions from the community.
The 24-hour token burn record was about 11.42 million Shiba Inu coins burned. This represents an 11.21% drop in burn rate over the past day. Additionally, Shibburn highlighted the top three SHIB token burners of the week: Mysterious Wallet, Blaze Token, and SHIB Super Store.
Mysterious Wallet is one of the top players in SHIB token burning, burning 11.42 million SHIB tokens in a single transaction.
The famous Shiba Inu community-led burn project SHIB Super Store is the next top token burner. It sent about 10.45 million SHIB tokens to the protocol’s dead wallet in a single transaction on May 8. Blaze Token played the highest contributing role, with the highest number of SHIB tokens burnt this week. The new token burned over 1.69 million SHIB tokens in a single transaction on May 8.
The Shiba Inu community has been removing a large amount of SHIB tokens from circulation through a burn process. But the value of SHIB has yet to recover significantly. The entire cryptocurrency market has been battling the impact of bears pushing most asset prices into bearish territory.
