Odaily Planet Daily News The Polygon PoS blockchain has successfully executed the "Indore" hard fork at block height 44934656 today.
This hard fork is part of the "Inborg" update. "Inborg" consists of two different proposals:
- Indore (PIP-12), implemented a few hours ago to improve network stability and eliminate potential BADBLOCK errors by updating the State Sync mechanism;
- Aalborg (PIP-11), due to be implemented next month, will speed up the finalization of the network through the concept of "milestones" and the introduction of a dual-client architecture.
As such, the Indore hard fork executed today is just one part of an upgrade for Polygon that aims to eliminate latency and synchronization issues between blocks. (Cryptonomist)
