Jin10 reported on April 25 that six sources revealed that U.S. President Trump may announce a package of weapons programs worth over $100 billion during his visit to Saudi Arabia in May. Previously, the administration led by former U.S. President Biden attempted to finalize a defense protocol with Riyadh but was unsuccessful. This protocol is part of a broad agreement envisioned for the normalization of relations between Saudi Arabia and Israel. Two sources indicated that Lockheed Martin (LMT.N) may provide a range of advanced weapon systems, including C-130 transport aircraft. Another source mentioned that the company will also supply missiles and radar. In addition, Raytheon Technologies (RTX.N) is expected to play an important role in this arms sale. It is currently unclear how many of the deals are new. Two of the sources stated that many plans have been in progress for some time. Executives from several defense companies are considering traveling to the region as part of a delegation.
