After the escalation of tensions in the Middle East, three empty oil tankers departed from the Strait of Hormuz.

According to Gate News bot, media reports indicate that Marine Traffic's vessel tracking data shows that three empty oil tankers and chemical tankers have left the Strait of Hormuz and changed their course.

After the attacks on Iran and its facilities in the United States, uncertainty is increasing over whether Iran will take retaliatory actions in this important waterway. The "Marie C" and "Red Ruby," which were heading towards the Strait of Hormuz, were not carrying cargo but were sailing in ballast, anchoring near Fujairah off the coast of the UAE.

Marine Traffic platform data shows that the "Kohzan Maru" is sailing near the Sea of Oman in the Gulf of Oman. Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha and Mitsui O.S.K. Lines stated on Monday that they have instructed their vessels to minimize time spent in the Gulf while continuing to transit the Strait of Hormuz.
