On August 24, Jesse Pollak, co-founder of Base, stated in an interview that the invitation feature will be opened in the "Base App" two weeks later to accelerate the viral growth cycle of the Base App and ensure that the product is good enough for every user. CEX announced the launch of the "everything app" - "Base App" on July 16, aimed at attracting more users into the Crypto Assets economy. This new app, which replaces CEX Wallet, integrates Wallet, trading, and payment functions while incorporating social media, instant messaging, and mini-program support, all running on its self-developed Ethereum layer two network, Base. For CEX, this move aims to break through the limitations of its core Crypto Assets trading business and reach a broader potential user base.
