Crypto.com sponsors the first Cryptocurrency prize pool golf event
Crypto.com will host its first Cryptocurrency prize pool golf event, the 'Crypto.com Showdown', at Shadow Creek Golf Course in Las Vegas on December 14th. The total prize money is up to $10 million, all paid in its native token Cronos (CRO). The participating players include Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy from the PGA Tour, as well as Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau from LIV Golf. The competition follows a Ryder Cup-style format, including four-ball, singles, and alternate shot modes. Crypto.com states that this event aims to innovate the viewing experience and introduces Cryptocurrency rewards for the first time. The event will be broadcasted on TNT TV on December 17th.
