The document is said to have been drafted by Amos Hochstein, deputy assistant to the US president and senior adviser on energy security, and has been submitted to Israeli political institutions. According to reports, the main content of the draft is that from the day of signing, it will recognize and fully implement UN Resolution 1701, especially that Hezbollah and other armed groups in the region will not take action against Israel. It is pointed out that the Lebanese armed forces will be the only armed institution in southern Lebanon apart from the UN forces stationed in Lebanon.
