It has been almost a month since I joined the VIRTUALS ecosystem. Today, I want to do a brief review and summary, as well as share some recent goals.
[Financial Status Review]
When it comes to the most concerning profit issue, it has not actually achieved profitability so far. Although it once reached twice the principal on paper, these earnings are difficult to realize due to restrictions such as the staking mechanism and selling penalties.
As the overall market sentiment has turned bearish, the price of VIRTUAL has dropped from $2.1 when I initially participated to $1.55, and various Agents within the ecosystem have also adjusted accordingly. Overall, I invested about $1300-$1400, and the current value is roughly the same. Among them, $VADER accounts for a significant portion, and despite some pullback, it remains profitable.
The most noticeable losses are from the SOLACE and VIRGEN purchased on the secondary market, but since I adopted a small-scale ($100) diversified investment strategy, the overall losses are limited. Although the multiples of early participating projects have decreased, they are still in a profitable state.
Fortunately, I turned to the "content creation" strategy earlier, giving up on studying the complex mechanisms of DAB and instead focusing on developing influence on Twitter. Luckily, I participated in the YAPPING event of VaderResearch from day one, adhering to the mindset of "earning more is a day gained."
[About New User Entry]
From a personal perspective, I believe this ecosystem is worth participating in, as I have met many like-minded partners during the process. I especially recommend those who are willing to create content daily to stake Vader_AI and join Vader Yapping, as it seems to offer a good cost-performance ratio.
If you want to seek higher returns by acquiring a large amount of DAB points, you will need more capital investment, and the learning curve is quite steep. Since I have already given up on this route, I don't have much advice to share on this.
[Recent Plan]
I will continue to focus on content creation, and I am already seeing some results. Whether it's meeting new partners or the growth of Yaps scores, the results are starting to show. When I see my creations being appreciated and shared, I do feel a sense of accomplishment.
The exposure of content is also steadily increasing, from initially only 10-20 views per article, now it can reach hundreds.
Another goal is to explore ecological content from multiple perspectives, and the effects are gradually becoming apparent. I found that some of the viewpoints I share are quite innovative in the Chinese community, and shortly after I published them, I noticed other creators adopting similar angles. Although they may not directly mention me, it is still gratifying to see these perspectives help community members.
At the same time, I am also improving my visual presentation skills. Initially, I had no idea how to create graphics, but after realizing the importance of accompanying images, I began to self-learn and gradually gained appreciation from others. I also encouraged other friends to learn graphic design together, and I feel very pleased to see everyone progress from casual images to now creating beautiful works. My next plan is to learn how to make short videos to accompany articles.
[Personal Insights]
Currently, the feeling is that it's indeed not easy to integrate into the Twitter community. I haven't joined any specific VIRTUALS groups, and the existing small group is limited to myself and a few friends participating together, so I mostly rely on my own research and exploration.
The last time I was so invested in an ecosystem dates back to the rise of SEI NFTs at the beginning of last year. At that time, communication on Twitter seemed easier, and even well-known figures within the ecosystem were more approachable, making interactions like commenting, engaging, and following each other feel more natural.
Interacting with them feels more difficult now. Although some well-known creators remain approachable, there is indeed a certain threshold overall. But that's okay; just focus on doing your own thing.
My philosophy is to expand my network, whether the other party is a well-known creator or a newcomer, or even users participating in the ecosystem who do not operate Twitter. I will respond seriously to every question and even engage in in-depth communication through private messages, with no neglect due to a small user base.
Finally, this reminds me of "Ready Player One" (, a movie that I really like. Just like the protagonist in the film, even as a "lone wolf", one can encounter like-minded individuals on the journey and achieve success through personal effort.
Let's cheer together!
